Premier Men and Women – International Distance Only
Athletes wishing to compete in the Premier Men and Women Division (formerly known as the “Elite Amateur” division) must have competed in an USAT Sanction International Triathlon within the last 12 months with overall times of 2 hr 10 minutes for men and 2 hr 20 minutes for women. Athletes in the Premier Men and Women Division removes them from being eligible for age group awards.
Age groups are broken down into 5-year increments, based on your age as of December 31 of race year.
If you want to complete the race with another participant who is not in your age group (mom, brother, friend, etc.), the Buddy Wave is for you. This will be the last wave of the race. Buddy Wave participants will not be eligible for awards or age group placements but will receive a finisher's medal and an official time. To join the Buddy Wave, choose this option through the registration process.
