Calling all super spectators!

The Maple Grove Triathlon is excited to host all triathletes and their adoring fans!

As a spectator, enjoy the action-packed event in the spacious surroundings of Weaver Lake Park. Atop the hill, you’ll glean the perfect vantage point of the water, transition area and finish line – there’s not a bad seat here! Cheer loudly for all athletes as signs, banners, coordinating t-shirts and other creative antics are highly encouraged helping us to create a downright fun triathlon experience. Are you up to this challenge? We sure hope so!

In fact, we've made special plans just for you and the kids too! Arrive early to grab a cup of joe and catch the National Anthem sung by the Maple Grove Senior High Choir before event commencement at 7:30 AM. While their favorite grown-up is busy reaching their triathlon goals, kids will also remain active all morning. Several local businesses will be on site to entertain with creative activities and crafts for the kids. And, did we mention there is a great playground too?

What are spectators saying?

"Relatives who attended the race as spectators said the parking and shuttle were both simple and smooth, with very little waiting."

"I am still running on such a high from this weekend's Dare to Tri! I loved the set up, the course and how kid friendly it was. My husband was able to bring the kids and was able to entertain them during the whole event."

"The event was the best I have been to with regards to entertaining families. My 3 boys had a blast coloring medals, having their hair sprayed and playing in the park. Thanks to everyone who volunteered - it was a great day."

"The venue was excellent and very conducive to the spectators. They are the ones sitting there waiting for us and they had a perfect view to see all three sports. It was also kid-friendly with plenty to do for the kids. It made it a lot easier for my husband trying to keep two kids under the age of 3 entertained for two hours."
